Are you lost in a sea of physical photos, slides, negatives, and scrapbooking layouts and wish you had some way to preserve them? We've got good news for you! Using state of the art equipment, our certified member of the Association of Personal Photo Organizers will turn your physical memories into digital images.

Why create digital images?

Having digital images of your existing media ensures that you have a backup copy of your photos. Over time, photos, slides, negatives, and scrapbook layouts can begin to fade or be damaged, lost, or even destroyed in disasters. Having a digital backup of your photos ensures that your photos will live on, even if your physical photos do not.

Digital images also allow you more flexibility with your photos in the technical age. You can provide copies to family and friends, share your photos on social media, and you can make scrapbooks with your scanned photos, slides, and negatives. Scanning and digitizing your photos is a good way to protect your memories and also utilize them.

Photos

Send us your photos and we will turn them into digital images. Photo scanning services includes scanning of your photo, light dust removal, and basic color correction. Your physical photos will be returned to you along with your digital images on a USB flash drive and/or the cloud service of your choice (cloud service fees not included in price.) We can scan photos sized 2x2.5 up to 8.5x34. This includes the basic photo sizes such as:

• 4x6
• 5x7
• 6x8
• 8x10
• 8.5x11
The price of each single-sided scan is $0.29. If you have an image that you wish to capture the back side of, that will be an additional $0.29. Not sure how many photos you have? No need to count. Simply stack up your photos and measure them. One inch is approximately equal to 100 photos.

Slides

We can scan a wide variety of slides into digital format. Slide scanning services include light dust and scratch removal and the removal of the slide frame around each image. Your slides will be returned to you along with your digital images on a USB flash drive and/or the cloud service of your choice (cloud service fees not included in the price.) Negatives

Turn those 35 mm strips of negatives into images you can use. Have rolled and uncut negatives? We can scan those too. Negative scanning includes light dust and scratch removal and basic color correction. Your negatives will be returned to you along with your digital images on a USB flash drive and/or a cloud service of your choice (cloud services fees not included in the price). The price for each scan is $1.25/frame or image, not per negative strip).

Scrapbook Layouts

You have spent so much time documenting your memories. Now make sure they are fully preserved with scrapbook layout scanning. We can scan square scrapbook layouts up to 12x12 in size and rectangular scrapbook layouts up to 11x14 in size. Your scrapbook layouts will be returned to you along with the digital images on a USB flash drive and/or cloud service of your choice (cloud service fees not included in the price). The price for each scrapbook layout scan is $0.39.

The Process

Book an Appointment
Start by booking an appointment with us. The appointment holds your place in line for the scanning and digitizing service. You will need to make sure your media arrives to us by the appointment date. This allows us to make sure your order is completed and returned to you in a timely fashion.
When you book an appointment, you will be asked for the number of photos, slides, negatives, and scrapbook layouts you will be sending. No need to give us an exact number. Give us your best guess. One inch of photos equals approximately 100 photos. One inch of slides equals about 20 slides. Your estimation will help us setup your invoice.
Invoicing
Once your appointment is booked, we will send you an invoice for the media that will be scanned. Your invoice is due on receipt. Your order will not be scanned until the scanning fee is paid. Once your project is complete, we will have an exact number of scans that were performed. At that point, we can refund any amount due back to you or we will invoice your for the remaining amount due. Because of this, it's a good idea to give us the best estimation you can so you don't owe more at the end of your project.
Shipping
In order for us to digitize your photos, slides, negatives, and scrapbook layouts, you will first need to send them to us. Since we don't want to risk anything getting lost in the mail, this service is only open for US-based residents. You will need to pack up your media and ship it to us. We will send you specific instructions and tips on how to pack and ship your photos to help ensure that they arrive safe and sound.
Scanning
Once we receive your package, we will take great care of your memories and give them the white glove treatment. We will let you know that we have received your package and will take inventory of its contents. The scanning and digitizing process will then begin and we will update you throughout the process of your project. Please allow 2-4 weeks for us to complete your order.
Completion
When your order is complete, we will ship your photos, slides, and scrapbook pages back to you. Your digital images will be sent to you on a USB flash drive and/or a cloud service of your choice (please note that cloud service fees are not included in the price of the scanning services.)
